“Sex and Catholics: What’s New?”

Pope Francis has introduced “new pastoral methods” to guide Catholics in addressing sexual ethical issues. These methods emphasize the authority and inviolability of conscience and plural responses to “irregular situations” such as cohabitation, same-sex relationships, contraception, and communion for the divorced and remarried without annulment. This presentation will address these methods and their moral implications for Catholic sexual ethics.
